I hoping someone has access to the Grey Sheet and can give me the Ask/Buy on this
commemorative. I was cruising the internet and came across it by chance, I think I need one! They have sold on teletrade PCGS or NGC MS65 for anywhere between $390 and $490. I'm wondering what they go for raw.

Thanks for the help as always!

    Thanks Hobo!
    Is that graded MS65?

$450/$485 is for MS-65. Grey Sheet assumes the coin has been accurately graded. Raw or slabbed does not matter.

If you want the CDN for slabbed coins you would need to consult the Blue Sheet. (I only subscribe to the Grey Sheet.) The Blue Sheet gives Buy/Ask for sight-unseen slabbed coins.

    merlin,

Also understand that all MS-65 Connecticuts are not the same. Some barely qualify as MS-65; if we graded to one decimal point they may grade MS-65.0 or MS-65.1. Other coins almost, but not quite, qualify for MS-66; they may grade MS-65.8 or MS-65.9. I would not want to pay the same price for an MS-65.1 as an MS-65.9 example.

Eye appeal also comes into play. Luster. Strike. Toning. Great eye appeal can bump the value of a coin quite a bit.

So the Grey Sheet Bid/Ask prices are a guide, not an absolute value.

Not according to the Greysheet. At the very top of the front page just above the
Single copy price" it states, Sight seen wholesale prices for accurately graded US coins - Certified or Raw

    Chris,

I was talking about the Blue Sheet, not the Grey Sheet.

The Grey Sheet is for "Sight-Seen . . . U.S. coins - Certified or Raw".

The Blue Sheet is for "Sight-Unseen" certified coins.

Take a look in the upper left-hand corner of the front page of the Blue Sheet.

The Grey sheet quotes Bid/ask wholesale Dealer to Dealer prices for either Raw or Certified coins..........Sight unseen/ Seen ............The Blue Sheet list prices for certified coins as Sight-unseen . Check the very bottom of your Greysheet where they explain what the grey sheet encompasses .

    Sorry, Hobo!

I can't look at the Bluesheet. I've been sitting on my glasses all afternoon.

On some of the early commemortatives, I think it's hard to grade, I have a NGC MS66 and MS67 Connecticut, I see very little difference in marks between them, even some coins in MS65 to MS67, doesn't look that different to me.
