Carwash Token... Is there a known date these were minted?

    I have a standard "Carwash Token" and I have been trying to find sources that can give me the date that this was minted, or even a range of years it could have been minted, but I haven't found anything. It is the same as this coin shown here:

    I have already checked numista. It says no date where it would usually have it.

    Similar tokens are still being made. The style of the "no cash value" lettering strikes me as 1970s/ 1980s. Here is a link to a company that seems to be the manufacturer and who is apparently still using at least one of the dies:

    Your token is "generic" but the same antique car die is used with a great many different reverses for various local car washes:

    well I looked it up and I found a website called "Jj carwash" selling these tokens for 10-20 dollars for modern car washes and these could possibly be printed from what dltsrq said "1970s/1980s" from today, these are still minted if I'm correct, I found one of these while metal detecting which led me to here, so now I guess I have a free car wash!
