    From different teller's trays, I found two 40% halves (1968-D and 1969-D) and a 1987-S proof.

Scored my first bag of halves today, $593 worth

    4 40%ers
    4 NIFC
    1 87d
    1 87S

Cool thing is there are five more branches for this bank within fifty miles of me. I hope to have five more bags by next week!

Did my usual run today... all clad, except for one bank which had a roll that must have dated from the 90's, at the latest. Busted it open and pulled one beautiful '69-D. I'd grade it MS64-65.

Also did a box of nickels, first in a while, got a '42-P and about a roll of pre-55's (Yeah, I switched it up to a bit earlier, I've got way too many Nickels laying around).

    Box of cents as well, that yielded as follows;
    '42
'44 (High AU RB! Nice coin from a roll.)
    '44-S
    '45
    '46
    '48 x2
    '48-S
    '50-S
    '51-D
    '53
    '53-D
    '55
    '55-D
    '56 x2
    '56-D x2
    '57-D
    '58-D

Ton of copper in this box too, more than 50%. Hit seven straight rolls with more than 35 copper cents. Stuff is really starting to add up and take up some room.

Only opened 2 rolls at work today, nothing great just a couple of wheats. I do have a question though. I found this 1960 and it just seems too nice to have been in a roll. Has it been cleaned or what? Sorry for the crappy pictures, it looks much brighter in person.

Probably broken out of an original bank roll. I find a couple a box on average, from the entire 1960's decade. I keep 'em and put 'em in 2x2's... that one is definitely a keeper in my book, it's nicer than my '60-D.

Coins that are cleaned typically won't have the "flashy" luster that coin has... the luster on cleaned coins is very dull.

Your post reminded me, the box of cents I did today also had a '61 and '64 in BU RD.

BTW, if you find more, I'd love to buy a whole lot of them off ya.

I went back to the bank that I'm opening a new account with and asked one of the tellers if the man I was working with was there. I didn't see him when I walked in. While asking, I notice two silver halves in her tray. I ask to buy them and the other couple that were there. She says that she I holding the two for someone else. That was lame. Later in the day I picked up some rolls of quarters at a different bank and found my second park quarter. I also found these two plated? state quarters. They are slightly magnetic. Had me fooled when I saw the edges. Both were in the same BWR. Anyone else see one of these?

i was going through a roll today and found a 1944 penny with absolutely nothing on the back side. It is completely smooth i can tell that it hasn't been rubbed down or anything. its solid. Anyone have any idea what it could be?

    what does NIFC mean?

NIFC = Not Intended for Circulation - There's some confusion over the 2001's but all halves 2002 onwards are that way.

Out of $50 in CRW's yesterday (actually a solid roll) managed to find 7 Franklins and 13 '64's. One of the bigger scores I've had in a while....pays to keep at it. ....though kinda strange no 40%.
