What is this Buchanan Unc FS Gold problem?

I received this unc FS Gold Buchanan coin from the mint and there seems to be a problem in the bottom half of the "N" in FINE. The metal actually slants down on the bottom of the N and to the naked eye and right light, it is shiny, not dark.

I'm not exactly sure what this is called, if this is indeed an 'error' and/or
if it should be sent back. I'm not used to seeing things like this. Can anyone
'shed some light' on what this is? Thank you in advance!

isn't the Buchannon the coronet large cent design?

I'd love to see pics of the obverse!

Sorry, but I don't know what the anomaly is on your coin.

There is metal missing - the N is not fully formed. I have a couple of
non hi-res photos I am attaching below. The obverse seems to be fine.

If you are not completely happy with it, send it back. I would.

It's not like they've sold out. Send it back for another one!

If it's an error, it could be worth more than the regular issue. I would wait to send it back until you find out more.

    What's the window of return?
