Wow!!

    I have bought coins from him and they were all pq and prices were negotiable. Many sellers put high buy it now prices on but will accept much less. He definitely deals in higher end pieces.

    HE can ask whatever price he wants for it. And remember if you are operating on the greater fool theory it helps to advertise to find the greater fool.

    IIRC, Larry Shapiro was the guy who attempted to mentor BNB a few months ago when everybody else wanted to crucify him, including most of the members of this forum. That makes him alright in my book. He has a very nice inventory and charging 5-10X bid is not uncommon for a toned coin. I will admit that this particular coin does not seem to have the eye appeal that would drive such a premium, but in the toned coin market, it only takes one customer to love the coin and pay the price.

    No, and I don't know him personally. I also live on the other side of the country:)

    I agree with Lehigh96 that I don't see the premium in this coin, but someone probably will. As I've said before different strokes for different folks.
