Gun stores get robbed too. owning a gun doesn't make you invincible.

Sun Tzu wrote that the acme of war was a bloodless one. But I think it pays to have a back up plan.

I love seeing all the big gun owners who think they could shoot someone down.

If 2 ppl came to your door wearing police uniforms, odds are you would answer the door. Odds are also you wouldn't have the gun concealed on you when you answered the door. Once the door is open, one of them could bull rush you while the other pulls out the gun that they brought.

Then what are you going to do????

You are gonna open the safe or give them the combo.

Even if you carry, if someone else is already pointing a gun at you, what are you going to do?

Maybe. But when they make their move, so will the dog. The "decorative" double edge swords are not just for show. And I will try and fight, simply because after they have what they want, they are just as likely to kill you as not anyway. And if there is enough noise, I expect my neighbors will come out with a gun drawn ? I only know that if I exit my house because of a disturbance in the neighborhood, I am armed. And, you know, a couple of the guys near me do the same thing. I've lived here since '94 and we've never had a strong arm robbery, only one burgulary. And they caught those guys when they tried it again and somebody held them for the cops.

So, it might happen, but not very likely here anyway.

If it were to happen it would be 2 to 0 in my favor! I'm trained, and they are crackheads... I live rural in a red county - good luck!
Why do you have a problem with good defeating evil?

I see people in public wearing guns in holsters sometimes. It reminds me of someone I knew once who always wore a knife holstered on his belt.

One day he got into a street fight. The emotion caused by the fight caused him to totally forget about the knife. But his opponent saw it and was able to grab it. Thus he supplied his enemy with a weapon.

Those people wearing guns should think twice.

if you don't want to be robbed, then don't let anyone know you have a safe full of silver. that will make you safer than any holstered gun.

    a) I'm going to get distance were my marksmanship will be the determining factor. b) The fact I'm caring concealed also gives me the tactical advantage to put two in the chest and one in the head the moment they drop there gaurd...

Living in fear is no living at all?

oh nonsense. anyone could approach you as you open your car door. there are many situations where you could be breathing down the barrel of a gun despite having a holstered weapon.
