Are there Krause numbers assigned to the following US Mint Issues.

    United States Mint Proof Set
United States Mint Silver Proof Set
    United States Mint Uncirculated Set

I have been looking on the internet but have not found what they are.

I have the 33rd Edition of World Coins. It does list the KM# of most US and world coins by series but does put a KM# on sets. It will have a KM# on each series of a coin such as Indian Head Cents, Wheat Cents, and Lincoln Memorials. They will often place a lower case letter (a, b, c, etc.) for changes in a series of a denomination (e.g. copper cents to zinc cents in 82). I'm sure that someone knows more on this site but that is the best that I can do.

Krause doesn't list KM numbers for Proof or Mint sets

Oops. I meant to say that the 33rd edition does NOT put a KM# on sets. Sorry for the confusion.

More accurately, they don't list numbers for US proof or mint sets. No clue why. :)

Are there Krause numbers for World proof sets? (don't have my book at hand, or I'd check)

What about coins that are unique to proof sets (ie; a 1996-W dime)? Do those have Krause numbers?

Give them time, they will probably get around to giving the US proof and mint sets numbers eventually. It has only been in the past few years that they have given numbers to the regular US coins. Back in the early 70's when they were using Yeoman numbers the US coins were numbered. But then when they started switching to the KM numbers they dropped all the numbers from the US coins and it has only been recently that they have started assigning KM numbers to them.
