    After 3 shutout boxes in a row, today's box was good: 7 40%ers and 1 1964 :D

I'll take that any day of the week.

Today, I went through $280 in a combination of CWR and bank-wrapped rolls ($200 CWR, $80 BR). I found five silver Roosevelts in the CWR's (1948, 1957, 1960-D, 1963-D, 1964-D). At one of the banks, the teller had four more silver Roosevelts in her tray and I exchanged four clad dimes for them. The dates were 1954, 2x 1964, and one 1964D. This is my best haul from a dime roll search to date.

I also managed to find a 1967 Kennedy out of two CWR's of halves.

i see people saying the found a bunch of the Westward Journey Nickels. Are yall searching/keeping these because they will go up in value or just for collecting purposes?

Most of the double headed or double tailed coins are not seamed on the edge, but instead on the inside of the rim on one side or another. Can be easily done by a goof lathe operator.

Hey guys, I found something decent today. I didn't come from a roll, but a coin hoard I got ahold of. The latest coin was a 72 cent and there were quite a few 64 quarters in it. I started sorting through the quarters $65.75 face. Up popped a type "B"!!! Yay and it's in really nice AU condition. I will try and get a pic posted tomorrow when I can take one in daylight. I compared it to a 63 D proof I had in a mint package and it looks good ! Best find I have had in months.

    Awesome Bobbeth!!!!

Btw, I was just talking to a guy I bought a metal detector from today and was asking him if he does coin roll hunting.
He said he use to, but that there ain't any point doing it anymore as there isn't anything out there.....I pretty much held my
    breath.....Bobbeth definately proves him wrong!!!

On another note I stopped by one my banks today and got a box of Pennies. One of my best boxes.

-25 wheats, but only 1 went in my folder, a 1955 Philly.

-Also pulled a counterstamped 1977 Alabama Penny that has the state of Alabama stamped to the right of Lincoln's head
along with the intials "AL" stamped within the state. Pretty neat, similar to the Kennedy/Lincoln Pennies.

-And I also pulled a 5 Pence Irish piece out of this box, 1994.

And finally when I stopped at my bank I spoke to the tellers told them what I was doing and they said that was fine that they could
order coins for me in whatever domination I want. I told them I will just do 1 box of Pennies/week so far. My budget is tight because I
just dished out $1,200 for a brand new Fisher CZ-21 underwater detector. Pretty psyched about that!

Good luck coin roll hunters, and congrats again Bobbeth, that is awesome!!!

IMG_8871.JPG My best find ever!!!!!!!!! Searched 8 boxes of halves 4 were duds and the other four yeilded 253 40%ers, 30 64's, 18 Frankies and 13 Walkers. That is 1942.00 in silver melt. The 4 boxes that had no silver were a mix of extreamly worn beat up halves and BU 2000's. I did not count how much I pulled from each box because a friend was helping me open rolls and we just made one big pile of silver. I am beside myself in awe of how someone could dump this much silver when silver is threw the roof in price?????? I also pulled a 1892 copper dos centavos from Argentina. :luckyguy: Way to go to on your find bob!!!
