An update on my 1969-1982 ANA Convention sets: I submitted them for grading to NGC, and the results just posted earlier today. Two of the 19mm medals received "UNC DETAILS - MOUNT REMOVED". I don't quite know what that means. Perhaps a previous owner had removed them from the Capital holders (I have all of the holders) and used them as jewelry pieces. It was just something I overlooked. It really isn't any big deal to me. I'm just happy to have them in the NGC slabs.

Yeah, they get tired of me asking about them every year at the NGC Luncheon at FUN. I had been asking about the ANA medals for about 5 or 6 years. I had also been asking about French medals for about the same length of time. They started grading French jetons, medalets & tokens (from the Mitchiner reference) a couple of years ago. One of the other issues I raised was that many of my US & French medals are 50mm-90mm, and a couple years ago they introduced the oversized slabs for diameters in excess of 45mm. Now, if they would only accept French medals larger than 37mm (the maximum size for jetons).

Does anyone have anything they want me to ask about starting next year? My fees are very reasonable!

    Congrats on the grades.

I have a few, ungraded, and just picked up a few that related to my Red Book collection.

    Now for the others.

    :)

I need the ones from 1987 and some from 1991 if anyone has any duplicates.
