Roll-searchers, post your results!

How do you ever get them to give you a box of anything? Everytime I ask they say that they arent allowed to give me that much. I have asked at several banks and they all tell me the same thing.

I usually never have a problem getting boxes of coins I usually go to bank of america or sovereign for my boxes of coins. The sad thing is the bank I have almost all my money is always gives me trouble for depositing coins or trying to pick up coins. But besides my main bank all my other banks always give me what I ask for without any questions asked or any trouble.

 

Big banks, dude. TD is huge around here, so they'll give me anything within reason.

 

Haven't posted in a while but this was pretty sweet. My wife had a Valentine's day gift for me yesterday, wrapped up into 4 sections. Each one contained a roll of halves.....all were solid 40%. She picked up 10 rolls the other day hoping to get something she could give me as a Valentine's day gift, or at least something fun to search through, and she hit the jackpot. What's sweeter than chocolate on Valentine's day? That.

 

Wow, that is a nice find. Wish my girlfriend would do something like that for me.

Went through the dimes and nickels, pretty solid!

2 silver roosies ('54-D and a '64) to go along with a 1968 Canadian silver.

3 war nickels, '44-P and 2 '45-P, including one in XF or so.

 

hey Merc, How much is a box of nickels or dimes. When I get the money I'd like to try to find a bank somewhere that would let me get them. I know cents are $25 and quarters/halves are $500

 

Did (2) more $500.00 boxes and got the following:

Box one-NOTTA Silver, (5)NIFC
Box two-1-40%, 1-NIFC

The boxes are getting worse.

I am still going through the pennies from yesterday and it's still over 40% Copper. I hit another 1982-D Penny that looks like a steel penny from 1943.

 

$100 for nickels (These boxes are heavy, haha) and $250 for dimes.

 

Dumped my halves in the coin machine at my bank as I cashed out I asked the teller for halves. He held up the only two he had which gleemed with white luster and said I only have two. 1 Franklin and 1 40%er.

 

Wow. haha It's probably gonna be awhile until I get that money haha. I guess Im going to have to get my mom to go in with me when and if I do get the box

 

I visited a bank today and got $3 in loose halves, found nothing. But when I accidentally called later, they found $110 of CRW in the vault. Between two of those rolls, I found 20 40%ers and 1 90%er. That made my day!

How do you accidentally call a bank and ask for halves? lol. Nice score though. Forgot to add that I was shorted $20 when I dumped today. They're gonna make it up to me later on.

I searched the $350 left from the bank that I didn't pick up.. (had another customer that wanted 150.. )

BIG FIND!!! A coin don't know the date that is double reverse!!!!

Check it, bet it's a magicians coin... look at the side for a seam, then check inside the rims for a seam.

 

The last two days... About 220 in halves... 2 40%'s, 3 2010's, 2 2006's, and an 87. Also got 31 ikes for the next ebay lot.
