    Im glad its over...just like I said in my earlier post..its all contingent on how solid the deal was, in which the original post didnt really clarify.
    And over 25 bucks of material???...I thought we were talking hundreds or thousands of $$$.
    Now, it time to start the damage control over the United States Postal Service.:D

    @Dollar1948
    I have seen two homeless men fight over half a packet of cigarettes in Central Park once in New York. I have also seen tree gulls fight over a hot dog , I will also go to the lenght to assume that two homeless men have fought over a hot dog in Central Park..... moral is ; there is no limit.

    Exactly as I commented in the early posts. Wasn't enough factual information to side one way or another. Now we have the other side of the story , but don't forget the third side of a coin.

    LOL - Welcome to Cointalk. I am glad you joined and told your side of the story. You sound like a really decent guy that understands business! The internet gives people the opportunity to have knee-jerk reactions with their emotions (which is normal and sometimes regrettable) and as Jim pointed out it can be a pack-like environment at feeding time. People are too quick to rally behind someone without knowing all of the facts. It doesn't make the OP a bad guy, just bad judgment! It should be a reminder to let the heat of the moment pass and approach a situation gone bad with a clear mind. Wait until after all possible private correspondence has been exhausted and keep it all in perspective before making it public. If you do make it public, it's just as likely that all involved will come out of it feeling a little embarrassed.

    It is good that you both are willing to put it behind you!

    Oregon seems like a classy guy to me. Made a smart business decision, realized that his decision probably wasn't the best from a customer satisfaction standpoint, so offered to make it up to the OP, but then the OP decides he'd rather go around trashing the guy.

    OP, you suck.

    EDIT: Appears the OP manned up. He sucks less now.

    Right on, man! That makes my morning. I really didn't want to wake up to an argument today, and I appreciate your post. You know, who among us hasn't done lots of stuff we regret online? I know I have. It takes some real fortitude to say what you just said, and it's not lost on me. Thank you. Let's go back to the other forum now and you can send me a PM about any other coins that you're looking for that I have for sale. Cheers! :)

    Still a crappy thing to do, I mean, to affect someones livelihood just because you were being non-committal about buying something and he took the sure deal? Guy has to feed his family, I don't blame the seller for not waiting on the OP any longer than he did.

    How about not at all? :)

    And Oregon sounds like a class guy. Glad you two gentlemen settled amicably.

    I've inserted the proverbial hoof in the mouth many times when the best remedy would have been to not hit "send"........

    Exactly! I remember this time when a colleague asked me if I was really going to send that email. At that instant I hit send because I felt so strongly about what was going on. It would have been better if I had taken the emotion out of the situation. It was an error in judgment and a lesson learned... Nothing I got fired over but I sure did feel stupid afterwords!

    Oregoncoins, Welcome to the forum!! Hope you stay around a while. The thread is a good example that a potentially flammable topic can be discussed and settled.
