I’m new at this but this exact penny has been impossible to find! Anyone smarter than me know what this is worth?

Genuine means the coin is authentic. Gouge means something has left a gouge on the coin somewhere. The person who had it graded most likely requested it be graded as genuine so it wouldn’t come back as damaged.
To get the most current prices use eBay most recent sales. That’s what I use. It gets more difficult when coins have crazy colors as those can bring extreme premiums to the right buyers.
That's actually a slightly off center. I thought it was just a MAD but the reverse is also off....so it's kinda cool!
