Nice nickel box. But, um, if the dimes were "all 2010 D," how did you find a silver Roosie? I'm confused....

2010's mixed in with old coins in the rolling machine. I had a box like that before, must have been 90% 2010's. Also found a silver dime in it, though.

 

$400 in loose and cwr's of halves... 2 40%'s and 2 2004's. Also pulled 41 cents and a british penny out of a coinstar.

 

Not sure if this is because I asked twice when I went in in about two weeks, but the bank near me magically had a fresh box ox BWR halves! Highly unusual and so glad I called before class. Picked up $100 and got a real nice 1980 proof, a 1968 D, and a 1964! Not bad eh? Wish I could take the whole box, but its just too much to do in my dorm apartment haha. I'm pretty pleased...probably going to go back for some more.

Not quite as good as the $30 in CWR I got there my first week back but still pretty great!

 

Three boxes of halves today for me.

Box 1; 1 90%er... 1964.
Box 2; 1 40%er.
Box 3; 2 40%ers.

Also scored another 40%er from a CWR a teller had.

I went to the bank today, and they were fresh out of cents... again

 

Find a bank that actually keeps plenty in stock. I was talking to a teller at one of my supply banks, they said they keep, at minimum, $100 in cents on hand at all times.

 

My daughter and I went to this bank and scored silver a few weeks ago!

Thank god all the hostages are ok.

I actually went through three boxes in the past week. Hopefully they'd get a new shipment soon

 

Apparently, a police sniper got a headshot, there. Sucks for the employees, hostage situations are bad news bears. Now, the hostage the suspect walked out of the bank with... well, they'll need quite a bit of counseling.

 

Spread it around, dude... sucking up one banks' change supply is an easy way to get cut off. I have four dump banks and I regularly pick up change at over 10 banks.

 

Yeah, I probably should. I've had bad experiences with the other banks with roll searching. I know of a place that may help me out. I do use several dump banks though.

 

$150 in halves today from two banks... one 68, one 2002, and a 2004s clad.

 

My streak of 9 consecutive days of finding silver ended today.

It has been a really fun little streak. Now, back to normal, lol.

 

4 boxes of halves netted 35 40%ers!!!!! I also sold all my 40%ers to a guy on craigslist for 4.00 a piece.

 

I went to 13 banks today and finally found about 220 worth of halves, and got nothing. I did pick up 2 ikes but other than that nodda. Im just going to go back to ordering boxes at least that way I just wait for the phone to ring and go get them.

 

Picked up 2 boxes of halves today and found;
Box 1: 8 40%, 1 90%. 1 Franklin, and 1 Walker. (my best box as of yet i was very pumped)
Box 2: 2 40% and 1 90%

 

If you have an account with that bank, can't you just have them order you a box?
