I bought some no-date Buffalos to give a vinegar bath and see what I can find. Before bathing this one, I saw "e pluri' under the chin. It is a 1925 S. Any opionions on this error, including value, would be appreciated. P8310088.JPG

Fairly common from a die clash. Not sure of any premium, but most likely not much. here is one of mine.

How does vinegar bring out the date?

Vinegar is an acid that reacts with the nickel to bring out worn features.
