the penny, dime, and the quarter with the hole i think are errors but not sure. and dont know the price of the others , any info is greatly appreciated
most of the coins you have are going to be worth their weight in silver. The Wheats are worth a penny. there may be a little premium on the 1889 Morgan and 1904 Barber depending on the mint mark (on reverse), and the date of the 5 cents (Shield Nickel) hopefully someone else will chime in who has more expereince than I.
thank you very much for your info would you happen to know anything about the buffalo proof on the other side of the buffalo there is a copy #
What are the dates and mint marks? The common wheat cent are worth 3 to 4 cents each and the barber half dollar have a slight premium over melt. Right now I am paying 19 times face value when I buy 90% silver. But if you have the key or semi-key dates they are worth more. The Silver dollars have $21.87 worth of silver in them when silver is at $28.28 an ounce. Check those dates and mint marks! Jim
I'm surprised no one mentioned the 1928 Peace dollar. The obverse appears to be at least extra fine. You looking at at least $200 -$300 with that coin alone.
Oh I forgot, check the back (reverse) if it has a "S" mintmark( below "ONE") it it worth much , much less.
Beastmode, need a closeup on that Peace dollar, front and back. If it's a 1928 with no mint mark, it's worth much ,much more than a 1928 S or as Inquisitive sees it , a 1923.
Your sheild 1870 nickel is worth about $20 - $25 dollars. But what is that coin to the right of the mercury head dime. I can't find it anywhere. It's the coin that looks copper with the eagle and great sheild.
Phillipines centavo, can't tell the denomination (I would have to check my redbook). That was from the US Occupation after the Spanish American War.
Thank you! i was having fits trying to figure out what it was. I sure hope that Peace 1928 has no mm on it. zeke
I don't know Zeke, but after looking at that pic,and straining my neck muscles from looking sideways (lol) it does look like a 1923.Again a closeup shot would make it clear.
