Is that Ebay seller hoping to catch a dope? I hope he misses. $679.50 plus $4.95 shipping direct from the mint.
I offered him $490.05. Offer was rejected.

I wish the Mint would fill subscription orders before first day orders. I had a subscrition and just now received my coins.

I looked over two (2) sets so far. Other than the occasional debris in the case, "most" of the coins are alright.

There's (what appears to be) a white spot on one Kennedy half (not sure if it's the coin or the case) and a rim ding on one of the RB Hays dollars. I see occasional small rub marks in frosted areas that are noticable enough to affect the grade (imo).

I might be a bit more critical that usual due to the huge price increase for these sets. At $67.95 per set, I would think they could at least give us a 95% copper cent.

The thing I really dislike about all modern proof sets is the pixelated appearance of the "modern" laser frosting technique. It just looks cheap and crappy (imho).

The debris seems to be mainly on the outside of the case, not on the inside, but there's a substantial amount of it!

I'm only concerned with my Mint Order , which should be here by wednesday of next week . I don't go buying this stuff in Bulk hoping to make a couple of dollars . It ties up to much " cash " betting on the " come " line . Even vegas gives better odds than this .

    Thanks for the photos!

They are pretty sweet sets, they should be in over at the Mint shop sometime this week. I'll go grab a couple.
