Good collection for a 12 year old?

I was wondering if this is a good collection for a 12 year old and mabye what it is worth.

Are you serious that collection is for a twelve year old, all my parents gave me was 20 bucks and told me to spend it wisely, which is why I'm a roll searcher.

 

Looks pretty darn good to me! What years are the wheats?

That was my instant thought too. ...But them heads are sure pretty.

The fact that 12 year olds are into coin collecting is great! I'm trying to get my kids into collecting (one is 12), but it's been sort of hit and miss. They seem to be more into cards.

I'm thirteen and have been collecting for six years now. I now write my own bi-monthly coin newsletter, I work at local shows, plus I deal and run three of my own businesses.

 

Although my son(9) has not gotten into collecting I've taken note he's more guarded and careful with his collection of baseball cards as he's watched me handle my own collection of coins, glad he's learning how to appreciate what he's got so far tho.

To make this a better challenge...I posted my response almost 5 hours ago.
I will ask 12yroldcollector to PM me within 24hrs of my post. If he does, the prize is sweeter.
If he does not Pm me before the 24 hrs have passed then the deal is off.

I am a little embarrassed at the moment. I posted the 2003 L 4 digit star note...I have already given this away..whoops.. If PM'd I will ask 12yrold collector what other district he may want. and to make up for my error in posting I will add a nice coin to the prize as well.

 

Great start on a collection. It's a lot more than I had when I was 12! Keep up the good work and happy collecting.
