Help me identify small hammered copper coin - Arabic?

    Here's a coin that just got passed to me, and I don't know where to start looking.
    Hammered Copper, 3.5 g, 16 mm diameter, with a kind of sketchy lion on one side, and Arabic? script on the other, and a date that looks like 18??.

    One of an Indian principality, I suppose.

    Good tip, Siberian Man, I think it's a 5 Cash piece from Mysore, Krause ref. C#191.2. No particular value, but nice to know.

    moneyer12 i just love UK coins.......

    confirmed it is a mysore cash, they issued some really small coins like this one and the gold fannums which were only the size of a pill.

    Mysore, British administration. Dated 1841 AD, naming "Mysore" as mint but struck at the Bangalore subsidiary mint facility.
