Can any one tell me about this coin. My Grandfather has had it for years and never new where its from, nor can he remeber how he got it. He has alot of world coins, wheats silver halfs ect that he has been putting in 5 gallon pails since the 30's, He was kind enough to let me look through his wheats to try to find some to fill some of my holes in my book, when he came across this with some other odd coins in a pouch in the bottom of the bucket

Any help identifying would be great Thank You. coins 009.jpg coins 007.jpg coins 008.jpg

My grandmother once gave me a 1 franc coin from "Empire Cherifien" (Morocco) and a 10 ore coin from Sweden. She had never been to either country.

I have ancient Greek and Roman coins and I never stepped foot outside my own time.

LOL -- I guess nearly all of us just wait for times to come by us instead. :)
