No, I don't intend to keep you from winning. You and I think alike, and I like the "over" more than the "under" in this case. If I win, I'll let you post the next coin. :)

I had it typed in my computer and couldn't pull the trigger. But now that it's done, nothing from stopping me from piling on!

I still do not have anything to post, so it will not make any difference. Now that you and Lehigh have Marauderrt10 and I totally boxed..................

So does that mean I can post a coin when you win with $350? :)

Next time I'll give you some more breathing room. I promise.

    $280, just a guess; I don't see the toning conferring a premium.

    Have at it.

BTW, my playing here is to test my knowledge. Whether I win or not is immaterial.

Since I have no beautiful toners I give my spot to Catbert , I know he has some beauties .

Rusty - I didn't intend to replace you! I always want to see your beauties. The only way I can post coins in this thread is through the generosity of others because I'm terrible at guessing what others paid for their toners.

Here's a coin purchased from Mark Feld in the summer of last year. Todd's pics do a great job of the color and luster, but some of the strike detail in the pic is hidden.

Now that is a pretty coin. I am going to guess just a little under 2X wholesale at $600.

I don't know what you are using for your FMV, but I am seeing $500 - $600 as FMV and selling for that or higher. I am going to guess Mark got him a good price and he paid $550.

OK! Am I high or low, leadfoot?

Since Numismedia wholesale is $340 I'll guess $500 . New you had some great toners Dan .

Sorry, I forgot the word Numismedia in my post. My guess was based partly on the toning and partly on the plastic.
