Not much, only programs I watch are Phillies, Flyers, and Eagles games. Or Discovery Channel. I don't really pay attention during commercials. Laptops are wonderful devices.
Yeah, but the commercial is old (70's-80's). I remember seeing it when we didn't have 100+ TV channels and every network aired commercials at the same time. In other words, seeing those McDonald's commercials was basically unavoidable. Depending on your age, you may have never seen them.
Alllll Merc Merc Merc, you never saw that commercial? That was back when Long Johns Silver was an eating experience! Taco Bell looked like old Spanish buildings with a giant bell on top, and they didn't screw up every other order at Kentucky Fried Chicken! I would go back to 1969 and do it all over again in a heart beat! People were generally self reliant, smart, and you didn't have to lock your house or car!
i'm the same way. i'm 30, i've never eaten a big mac, and i've never seen the commercial. the only programming on tv that i watch is sports. if there is a tv show i want to see (which is rare), i just wait for it to come out on dvd, and i borrow it from the library.
Coin knowledge by some laypeople is surprisingly bad... Lead me to believe this post was about my (layperson, noob....lol) lack of knowledge on values, key dates, grading, condition, etc.. regarding coins.. I am relieved to find that as a layperson, I do know who is on most all modern currency (save some of the presidential dollars as I've not seen all of them) both coin and paper. Whew!!
What you don't like the hot side hot, and the cold side cold? Why do they kill everything that is good? Has anybody seen a banana pudding pop lately?
Hey guys! The first time I heard it was when the regular burgers were 19c and the Big Mac was 29c. About 20 years ago, I pulled up to the drive-in window (before they had the speaker gizmo, whenever that was) and said I'll have "two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun" and the girl looked at me and said, "Huh?" Chris
Hey.. In all honesty I did know that one... I would have answered it like this however; The 'same name' as Tom Hanks 'volleyball' in the movie "Cast Away".
Then you must have also chased down the Good Humor Man, got prizes out of cereal boxes, and surely have gone to the drive-in and sat on top of a station wagon for the cartoons and part of the first movie.. You may even recall...'Fuzzy Fuzzy'...and the accompanying dirty. Even I had one of those coin collecting folders - who didn't back then?
