Yeah, one guy sold 5 DMPL and PL 63's at FUN to one guy... I'm guessing a hoarder scooped them all up.

Were they rattlers? I saw some on EBAY and know the person listing them was at FUN.

 

No. That person bought the rattlers off Heritage and they were mostly 1885 and 1883 O's, Right? They were sold in lots?

This guy had a nice mix, 2 were OGH (Not rattler), the rest were New Blue.

 

How would this coin rate on the prooflike scale?

 

Hard to see without some reference point in the reflection. It looks like it has some prooflike qualities. The rule of hand is to hold a ruler perpendicular to the coin and see how many inches you can get a clear reflection. If you can clearly see the 6" marker and number, you have a DMPL coin. 3"-6" would be PL.

 

+1 Lots of CC's and not that many others. Except that one MS61 right Blue

Thanks Merc. It's one of my favorite. Some of the Morgans on this thread though are unbelieveable.

Had to look up Battle Creek. Never heard it before but I've only been at this a couple of months. They do look gorgeous. This is my only really toned Morgan. PCGS MS63

 

The 85 NGC 64* to the far right is amazing.
