Cracked PCGS encapsulated case

I just bought a PCGS graded quarter with a spider shaped cracked encapsulated case, without realizing it.
Would the value be markedly lower, or about the same?

substantially lower "VALUE" at least cost to reholder. Do you pictures?

Get it reholdered. It is going to be hard to sell with a crack like that.

If you payed $3.80 for it I don't see why you would sell it in the near future anyway. As long as you are happy with the coin inside keep it as it is.

 

Yea, I think I'll just keep it as is, until I decide to sell it, then I can reholder it.

well just a thought, like anything else in life, prices will always inflate so the question is do you spend the money know to get it slabbed or wait till years down the road when it may cost more?

If it's a PR70 then the reholder cost is $20 or $30 IIRC
