OK, so My ebay bucks certificate has been redeemed today. It is around $50.

Lets hear some ideas on the best bang for my 50 bucks on a coin!

    $50-$70 is fine.

Add $20 to your $50 and get 2 1oz. silver rounds.

Good suggestions, however I do not buy bullion. :( I prefer coins.

That is easy, an MS67 war nickel with light toning.

How about a really nice VF/XF silver coin from Gordian III, emperor of Rome in the 3rd century? His silver coins are about the most common for Romans, so you can pick up really nice examples for $50 or less.

My suggestion is a 1940's Walking Liberty Half in MS63 or MS64. Toned or not as you please. Good luck on your Quest and be sure to pet Bandit for me.

I would consider getting a Silver proof set from any year prior to 65 and seperating the coins.

Well, I did something really strange. Since we found out (on christmas) the wife is pregnant, I asked her what SHE wanted from ebay with the $50. :)
