Not really arguing with you and you do make some very valid points. My questions if of those 4 negs - two of them are the same thing, offered full refund and refused. Why refuse a full refund? And how many of those positives might have been feedback hostages that just gave him what he wanted? When you look at their feed back you can tell a lot of the sellers give quick feed back for quick payment - in my opinion a good seller will leave feedback once payment is received. This occurred with the best sellers even before the new feedback system. But you have to wonder how many regretted that.

And yes you are correct that we only have one side of the picture. In this case if we had the other side we could ask why they did not take the offer of a full refund? I think when a seller offers a full refund they have done what is necessary to make the buyer happy. Of course a refund offer calling the buyer names or a scammer would be a different story.

Does anyone know Ebay's rationale for refusing to lift negative feedback in this instance? Seems that when someone offers a full refund, and the buyer subsequently leaves a negative feedback, that would be the exact situation where Ebay should step in and correct the injustice done by the buyer? I have never been a seller on Ebay, so I am coming at it from an unbiased point of view.

Frank, I'd only have need to exercise such authority on disruptive, hateful grumps like you... and only then it would be a case of pure justification for the way you abused your so-called 'power' as a Moderator on Numismatic Society in which you banned me there after luring me back to an old thread of mine on NS, baiting me with comments seeded to correct your filthy lies you'd sewn... and doing so on NS after getting your butt royally served to you in a few CT threads after you acted up. Of course there's little evidence left of that, as you cowardly edited (erase) all of your pointless comments under the guise of an act of maturity. Please! You are 60 years old for crying out loud! What is this time around? Holidays got you blue? Taking out some more agression on the internet? Return to your little fiefdom of smiley icons and gibber-jabber that you call a Numismatic Society. You've got a custom little playground that tolerates your garbage and constant off topic banter there.

inside joke.. but hey I got it!

    Indications of good sellers:

    Free shipping.
FB left when paid, NOT after buyer leaves FB
Clear in-focus images of entire item
    Liberal return policy.
no lengthy monologues of their "terms" of the sale

    Indications of great sellers.

    All the above plus,
    Multiple high resolution pictures.
    Detailed description and history.
    Combined item discount.
Encouraging statements for buyers to ask any questions anytime.
Descriptions that tout the benefits of buying from them ie. no questions asked returns, multiple item discounts, we want to make you happy, etc etc.

Remember , this opinion is worth what you paid for it!

It's enough out of you young man...;) You're too green to even see the irony in your request for photos, the very thing you were simply asked to do recently when you put up a huge fight against doing yourself, and here it is, two days or so later and you are expecting the same of others.

    DO YOU SEE NOW?
