Merry Christmas from Hawaii! Here's my newest pickups from this past Christmas. 1910 Lincoln cent MS-64 BN? 1931-S Lincoln cent VG-8? 1908-S Indian cent VG-8? Don't know the grades for sure but they are nice ones.
My mother in law got me a roll of v nickels from my local coinshop. I added all the coins from 1899-1912 (minus the branch mints) and a 1890 and 1897 to my collection all of them were G-4 but they look good. Also picked up the 2010 silver prf set. Hoping to add a 1878 Morgan to the list this week!
You'll love the 31-S, trust me! It's really my second one, (I have an AU-55) and because of the lower price, I took interest in it and decided to buy it since it never hurts to have two of the same date key dates. It's one thing I like about the 31-S, its a scarce date with a price that doesn't burn a huge hole in your wallet like an 09-S VDB would. MS-64 Reds I've seen go for $450-$500. But you can get a real nice circulated example for around $120 ish area. I got my AU-55 for a steal though, $110.
That sounds awesome T-Bone. I considered starting a set of V-Nicks in VG-8 but scrapped because I started on Wheat cents. Morgan dollars are always nice coins to top off the year, speaking of that, I added a 1921 Morgan in uncirculated in an airtite for $22 to top off the year 2008!
Can't see the coins real good but the 10 looks a low MS to me. The IHC I would go VG-10 on it, but if you can see all the letters in Liberty then I would call it F. Nice pickups.
