I just picked this 1914-P Lincoln and would like to know your opinons before I give the answer *the line below Lincoln's ear and above the word "Liberty" are not scratches *fingerprint is on the slab not the coin *scratches above the "N" in "UNITED" and below the words "Of America" is on the slab not the coin. **doesnt have the most luster for a coin but nothing horrible either.
I am being honest. Doug is going to say AU, but I think you are asking what a TPG would give it today. I am torn between a 62 and a 63.
I'm going to say AU 58. Low MS (62-63) would not surprise me, and given the choices that leads me to believe that is what the coin graded.
Looks like some of the stuff is on the slab, fingerprints on the reverse, hard to spot wear from the pics. AU-64
I have a feeling you are asking this because it is graded as MS60 cleaned?.. I am seeing a bit of flatness. so honestly I would go AU
EyeeatWheaties, where do you see flatness on this and no it's not cleaned. I will give the answer later tonight or tomorrow, depending on what the boss lady..err I mean wife needs me to do around the house.
It's so hard to tell from pics. There looks to be a fair amount of flattening just above the ear. Plus I see a lot of ANAC slabs with MS60 - Cleaned .. I was guessing based on the tone? of the post. Sincere apologies. I am new to guessing grades so I use other examples as a benchmark of types, fully understanding that just because a label says MS..... anyways this is my 1914 PCGS MS62BN Lighting is everything ..
I will say 63 reverse seem,s to be scratched, not sure if that,s the coin or the slab? But i will stick with the 63!
sorry for the double post but i just noticed that almost the same amount of people So far think this coin is either A/U 55 or 63 that,s a big gap!! i find that very interesting!
