I feel pretty good about finding a 98 WAM, but I can't tell if I have found an unclad 97 quarter or if it was in pig pens pocket for ten years...

This is the first time I've tried to take picks and don't think they would be the quality of others on the site if I shrank them the the required size. I'll post links to then full size.

Really makes you appreciate the quality pics around here when you try to do it yourself. If WAM or CLAD rough value estimates appreciated (comments that say need better pics, I'll keep snapping but that's about as good as my gumby limbs and digits will do right now, lol.) Thanks to all who reply since this is my first attempt at posting picks. I really hope that's a WAM since it would be the first thing I've found since I've become a "Grown Up."

The Cent looks like a Wide A M. The quarter I question as outdoor damage. I found an interesting one the other day:

Good news Johnny, you're not an idiot!:D The '98 is indeed a wide AM,nice find. Not real sure about the grade on it but it looks to be at least AU which is worth about $10 bucks or so. If UNC perhaps $30 or better. I'm not sure about the quarter. If it were unclad it should be more of a copper color. It looks to me like it was subjected to too much heat somehow, maybe in a fire.

Congratulations on the WAM, they are hard to find.

The quarter looks like environmentl damage to me. I see a few that are messed up and dark in the rolls I search. I just toss them back into circulation. But I may be making a mistake by doing so ?

As the others have said the 98 is a WAM and the 95 quarter is just discolored. As to whether or not you are an idiot, I don't know you well enough to tell for sure but so far it isn't really looking like it.

I'd hold off on passing judgement... I've done some pretty stupid things in the past, lol. thanks for the feedback though.
