What's the smallest coin in your collection?

Yep, 16.25 mm to be precise. Here http://ec.europa.eu/economy_finance/images/image8583.gif is one from Spain for example. Wish we would do away with those 1 and 2 ct pieces though.

The Russian 1 kopek coin http://www.cbr.ru/eng/bank-notes_coins/coins/Coins_97/97_1k_R.gif is small too: diameter 15.5 mm. As far as I know, the central bank plans to phase these, and the 5 kopek pieces, out soon ...

An ancient Chinese ban liang coin cast during the transition period (circa 200 BC) from the Qin Dynasty to the Western Han Dynasty.

This coin is only 5 mm in diameter and weighs just 0.12 gram.

Here are a couple coins from my collection. These are two specimens from SERBIA. The first is a silver Dinar measuring 13mm issued under Prince: Stefan Lazarevic Hrebeljanovic 1389-1402 AD. The second is a Aspra measuring 10mm issued under Despot: Djuradj Brankovic 1427-1456 AD.

Actually, it's silver. I captured these images with my camera, and it's difficult for me to get the toning accurate.

Don't have a pic, but my smallest is a UK Queen Victoria silver penny (from a Maundy set). 11mm.

 

I own two US silver 3 Cent pieces. 14mm x 1.55 mm

 

I love the silver 3 cent pieces...for some reason I didn't even think of them when I made this thread!

 

Phocaea, Ionia, 6th century BC, a hair under 5mm, 0.1g, probably a quarter obol but I'm uncertain on this point.
