Ebay Etiquette

    My mistake (they do happen). As for the statement about Albany, it is one of the 50 state capitals along with DC, the national capital. I haven't seen any of them retain even a modicum of honor after the politicians and lobbyists have taken over their town.

    Come to think of it, I do know one person who has remained honorable, even though from a capital. A modern day Lot.

    IMHO, it's like "buy it now". Whoever pays first gets it. In spite of the error.

    Not quite the same. Buy it now may require immediate payment whereas a listing seller may offer a few days for a buyer to pay, I agree if the first buyer does not pay in time, it can be sold to the 2nd buyer. But you have to fufill your contract with the 1st guy.

    Your response sounds like proper ebay etiquette to me. You pay for your item and wait for it to show up, if somethings wrong with it then you return it if you have to. In other words it's nobody's concern who or whatever he posted, it will all come out in the wash so to speak and he will have to make it right for the second buyer if he can't deliver. good luck! :thumb:
