Is there a trick to cracking open an ANACS and a PCGS slab? Are they just snapped together, or is there some type of adhesive used? Any tips or tricks would be appreciated.

Good read! Wish i had the clout to do a 7070 Dansco lol. I think I'm safe with cracking some $10 MS64 nickels out of slabs.
Don't forget safety goggles to protect your eyes from flying shards of plastic. It's no fun spending the holiday in the ER. :so-sad:
Slice it with the cutting wheel on your dremel roto tool. Or a jigsaw with a medium blade at slow speed. Somebody told me to freeze it for a couple of days, then tap the edge with a hammer while it's backed by a steel workbench or concrete slab. gary
oh c'mon guys.. For the PCGS slabs... right at the 3 o'clock position 1/2" into the jaws. it is easy cheesy..
