Box of halves; 7 40%'ers. Best box in a couple weeks, even with no 90%'s.

Two boxes of dimes; 2 silvers. 1 '62-D roosie, and one 1917 Merc in AG... my oldest dime yet. I took a video of it spilling outta the roll just in case it was my first Barber or Seated... I really had my hopes up.

Out of $5.00 of pennies I got a 1937 wheat penny in pretty good condition. Also found a potential 1995 DD, but I'm still a noob when it comes to dd's. I also found a 1998 with an indent around the 8 to the right. I think I recall something about a bounce when it was struck but I'm sure it's nothing. I'll get some pics this weekend, but only thing I'm really excited about is the 1937 wheat. I just got another $10 worth today but they have some guys name on the rolls so I think it might have been a way of marking by another searcher, lol.

I haven't found any 2010 quarters in circulation yet. Has anybody seen any?

About $200 in loose and CWR of halves. About half of the rolls were marked (anothers dump?). 2 40%'s, 1 2009d, and a "tails cap". It fits over a normal half and makes it two tailed. Never seen one of these before.

    War nickels are 35% silver.

I also have found plenty of Buffalo nickels. I just like them, they're time consuming and help with the large amounts of downtime I have.

First time poster, picked up a lot of great advice from this thread on roll searching

Picked up 25 customer rapped rolls of Halves from two different banks

    13 40%
    8 2002-2009
4 40% from the tellers tray

The teller at the second bank had 11 40% in her tray that she was going to put in her kids piggy bank for Christmas. I couldn't talk her into a trade or selling them to me.

Have two boxes waiting for me to sort tonight. I can't wait to see what I have.

    Officially addicted

Wow, nice finds man. Your area seems relatively unsearched if you've found that much. Mind telling us where you're from?

    Eastern side of Raleigh NC

I try to target my search to a strategic area. Both of the banks that had good silver were in smaller downtown locations with several coin operated business in the area. The tellers told me they get a good volume of coins from these businesses.

So far the boxes that I ordered have been complete skunks,

Rolled 21 rolls of nickels for dumping today. Only found two that were a grade higher than in my set that I swapped out. Picked up a box of cents that I am going to start tomorrow.

    HMMM!

Maybe I should try to mount an expedition up to downtown Durham to see if I can match that performance. The banks I've been frequenting on the south side are starting to feel distinctly picked over.

Let me know how you do. I was looking at Angiers and Fuquay Varina but, It'll be months before I can make it over that way.

MY LAST 2 $500.00 boxes of halves equaled 1 40% in each box. But I did have fun in the last box there were hundreds of just like new 71 and 72's so I rolled a couple rolls for the grand son or something. Ha ha.

Just found this forum yesterday and saw this thread. It never occurred to me to roll search but I walked across the street to the bank at lunch and got the two rolls of half dollars they had. Found one 40% coin in them.
