I went to a show yesterday and sold an 1853 Half Cent PCGS MS-63BN for $285, plus I brought $50 with me, so I had $335 to spend, and I left the show with $111 or something like that. With what I spent I got some awesome stuff! It was also one of the best buying days at a show I have had, not to mention I got my first job: managing the show owner's table (he is the main dealer there, also.) Pictures to come...
Next, for $3 each. I didn't know how much they'd be when I bought them, but I'm sure my siblings will enjoy them as Christmas presents:
Next, for Free. The dealer put this in his book and was waiting for somebody to find it. Then he gave up waiting and when I was at his table he said to me "Do you notice anything interesting about this?" It was a horrible looking coin, no offense to the dealer, but then I noticed what the 2x2 said, "Free":
Next, 75 cents for each P&D Grand Canyon and Mt. Hood Quarter, and $2.00 for the 2010-D Lincoln Dollar:
Say what? $85!!! Did you have to talk the dealer down any to get that price? If this is an AU note, I'd say that's way below market value and according to the latest Paper Money Values, it's approximately 50% less than price guide figures. Can you rescan this note so the margins don't get cropped so tight.
Sorry, but I don't have access to rescan it right now. And yes, I talked the dealer down from $90 to $85 (I tried to get lower but he settled on $85.) So I did good?
From what I am seeing by comparison that may have been a steal. I haven't checked Heritage yet but will try to do so this evening.
