Very nice!! Just as a quick comment (not any intentions of stealing the thread with this) I am a full time colonial copper dealer (with some colonial silver mixed in!!) but I have to say the first time I saw an early gold piece I was blown away. At the Baltimore ANA many years ago, Anthony Taraszka (of $10 Early Gold fame) handed me a coin with his fist closed over the piece. I was shocked at the actual weight of the coin. Then I looked at it. It was a beautiful RAW (this was at a time where almost all the early gold was already slabbed) XF example of a 1795 9 leaves $10. I was hooked!!! If I was not a colonial dealer, I certainly would be in early gold. They are amazing examples of our early mint process. So, going back on track, congrats on owning a wonderful piece!!
It's very kind of you to say that, but I think MS61 is a fair grade. The obverse has unmistakable adjustment marks and there are a few minor ticks and taps in the obverse fields along with light hairlines. The reverse on its own merits would probably warrant MS63. It really is a screamer with amazing cartwheel luster.
