very nics pics what kinda camera you used?? its a die gash, i have something similar in pcgs holder but they graded wrong i think cause it has some die filling..

Looks like a bad Planchet was used to strike the 55-S.

 

Looks like a struck though grease/oil. The fields and the devices are affected around the neck. Note the pattern on the fields, just a strike through.

If it were a die gash, it would be raised and not incuse on the coin.

 

She has a Samsung Epic 4G. When she took the pictures and showed them to me, I was very impressed. I was using our scanner to get pics before, but not anymore.
