Just wondering if someone can point me in the right direction for some information on proof grading. Something that has the qualifications for each number or maybe something like Photograde.
    thanks

If there is a book devoted solely to grading proofs, I'd sure like to have it, but I don't think you'll find one.

This is just my opinion, but grading 69's & 70's is rather easy. It's below 69, where it starts to become more difficult. I would imagine that the grades would follow a path similar to that of MS coins. The more detracting marks, abrasions, etc. the lower the grade. If you have any 68's & 69's of the same coin graded by the same TPGS, compare them to see how they differ. Do the same with a 67 & 68, a 66 & 67, and so on.

While you're at it, take a lot of photos and then write a book about grading proofs.
