These are a few of my favorites.
It's very hard to pick just one.

The dark brown cent is a "Booby Head".
The lighter colored one is a "Silly Head".

My favorite is an 1806 Draped Bust Half Dollar that I recently bought from 900Fine for $350.
It's my oldest coin, minted when Thomas Jefferson was President.

    A coin for every mood

My Avatar coin is a beauty, but I don't have it - YET! Another favourite is Wilhelm II of Germany 1903 20 Mark. I don't know why, but I even speak to the guy when I'm out of sorts! Crazy, eh?

The most beautiful artisticly in my collection is a Rupee Shah Jehan, but then he had good taste bulding the Taj Mahal...

A third I got just a week ago. It's minted by the Livonian Order in Riga, Latvija & the special about it is that the Grandmaster and Münzherr that minted it is my ancestor.

And by the way, Hartberger is wonderful, but I prefer Numis because I must be able to take the coins in my hands & touch them. Just looking through them covered with plastic makes me loose interest. Can I hold them in my hands they are just beauties!!!

Thanks! The Silly Head was rejected by PCGS as having "altered surfaces" so I picked it up very inexpensively. It looks much more natural in person.

  11. I dont have pictures of mine, but it would have to be my Stone Mountain Half.

My favorite coin is actually one i picked up yesterday. It's an 1880 Morgan. I've posted ads on craigslist advertising that i'm trying to buy morgans and peace dollars. A older man called me yesterday to ask if i'd be interested in his 1880, and i said i'd love to check it out. I went over to his house and we got to talking, it turns out he and my grandparents were next door neighbors many years ago. I got all the silver dollars i have with the exception of this one from my grandma, so it was just really cool to happen upon one from someone she was very good friends with; not to mention all the stories he was able to tell me about her and my aunt, uncle, and dad when they were growing up. I would attach a picture but i only have the camera on my iphone and it just doesnt cut it lol.
