I put some info up on my blog for the Double Deuce set: http://bepcollectiblecurrency.blogspot.com/2010/11/2011-2-double-deuce-set.html Link to BEP page to the Double Deuce set: http://www.moneyfactorystore.gov/20112doubledeuceset.aspx Link to BEP page for the Intaglio subs: http://www.moneyfactorystore.gov/2011intaglioprintsubscription.aspx
I've had some trouble in the past with orders from the BEP Money Store, so I ordered one set online, and another VIA the telephone. It's the only way to get the series 2003A $2 I-D and J-D blocks, which are yet to be recorded as printed by the BEP over at uspapermoney.info, where I get a huge amount of serial number information from, and an awesome source of information for the small-size collector.
I picked up the Intaglio prints, I think they look really sharp compared to the last few years. Look forward to receiving them throughout the year!
I've been eyeing the vignettes offered too and agree, they are a nice offering compared to other recent ones they've had.
I'm very interested! I have a lot of twos in my collection and this would be a perfect addition! I've never owned some sort of commeoration "thing" like this. No fancy holders for me =/ I will most certainly scoop one of these up after I pay for my upcomming travel adventure - US VI. Will update this thread with pic =D
Hey, that's only six serials away from mine--I got #2654. By the way, I'm still trying to figure out the overall serial range for these sets so I can add it to the website. So far, all the sets I've seen online have been in the 2000's or 3000's. Does anyone have a set that will expand that range either lower or higher?
I recieved several sets yesterday, with less than remarkable serial numbers, and poor centering. It seems to me that if the BEP was going to offer premium, matching numbered sets, they would pay more attention to how they were cut up. If it's any consolation, the folders they come in seem to be above average.
I recall the OP was working on this site compiling all the BEP collectible items, maybe he can help...?
Shocking to be sent such a poorly centered note given the retail prices on these notes sold direct from the BEP.
