Zero value to me but you may be able to sell them on ebay. A good error really needs to show the date and hopefully as much of the coin as possible to catch my interest. Lucky you got them on the cuff.
They have value. Maybe a dollar or two or more each. You may get a better price by selling them as a lot.
Agreed must show the date to get some good value. I have a no date double strike and a 95% off center and I believe they are valued a few dollars. Nice coins though I like them. Stupid question but what is a grab bag?
I spent $150.00 on a bag of unknown (to me)goodies. Got some junk, but got some good stuff, too. The cents posted above, plus: 1967 SMS cent NGC MS66RD 1655 SMS nickel NGC MS66 1965 SMS dime NGC MS66 1965 SMS half NGC MS66 1968 quarter NGC PF66 2004 handshake nickel NGC PF69UC 1945 Walking liberty raw AU? 1982 Proof set 1986s Liberty half 1972 mint set 4 V nickels 1963 half ACC PRF70 1993 ASE ACC MS70 And a few other things. I think I did OK. I do know that ACC grades don't mean too much, but they are nice looking coins.
That's a good one Chris. To the OP, though, you made a good buy in your own estimation. And that is what really counts. gary
The ones with dates get higher money. However, you will get more than "a dollar or two" from these....I'd say more like $5-10 each.
How common are coins like these? I have searched 2 boxes of pennies and never seen anything like that. Where do the ones come from that cannot pass through a coin counter due to being deformed? Thanks a lot!
http://www.ngccoin.com/poplookup/NGCCoinPriceGuide.asp http://www.pcgs.com/prices/default.aspx This may help 4 Ngc & Pcgs but ACC ???
No, they both say "ACC". I couldn't find anything much. One site called it a "self slabber", possibly dealing with problem or counterfeit coins. I'll be cracking those two slabs to check more carefully. I don't think they are worth submitting to NGC or PCGS, though.
