It'd be nice to have a "list" or "database" of sellers on ebay who are good and/or supported here on CT... That'd be nice for a collector like me who has limited brick and mortor options...
That is why the classified section was created, as an alternative for CT members to post items for Sale. Not that many use it, and very few , I think, take time to look at it.
Totally disagree that generalized statement that not many use it or take the time to look at it. There are currently about 100 listings. They are active and change as items are bought/sold, and new listings are added. I've bought and sold from CT's classifieds and you can see how many views a listing gets while it's active, this proves people are looking at it. It's not got the traffic of eBay or other auction sites, but given the registered members of CT who may list in our classifieds and who regularly use the forum, I think it's been in use quite adequately since Peter updated the forum software and began offering the new classifieds. Seems better than the old format that CT had for listing items to sell.
