My friends father owns ALOT of quarter machines at the mall, and he let my friend and I search the quarters he took out.
$4,000 worth we got 5 silvers all 1964 D except one 1963 D, about a dozen canadian quarters, about a dollars worth of pennies, nickels and dimes that people put in by mistake, and God knows how many Bicentenial qaurters..at least 100 (we didn't pull these out)

10 rolls of nickels, nothing notable. I usually return my loose coins to TD bank, but now I heard they're charging non-account holders for the Penny Arcade machines. Not good news!

Man, finding the bicentennials is truly a sign of the times. I have read that it was the most Hoarded US coin in history. Guess people need to cash them in ?

    Congrats Moonshine.

I opened two boxes this weekend. Skunk
    I found about 35 bucks in loose/CWR. one 40%er

The 40%er is a 1967 that looks prooflike....it nearly has a mirrored field. But they didn't make proofs for that year. Weird.

SMS....I'm going to half to read up on that. It really has more shine/mirror than any other 40%er I've ever seen.

Meanwhile, today I found $470 in CWR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One stinking 40%er. At another bank, they had one and it was a 40%er, so I got 2 today. Ho hum.

Bought partial bags of dimes, nickels and halves off a bank that allows me to buy all the bags I want.

Nickels - No war nicks. :( 1923-S Buff in G though! Pretty sweet score. :) Out of about $140.
    Dimes - '45 Merc, '59-D Roosie, '65 Canadian out of about $250.
    Halves - 2 '64's, 3 40%'s out of about $130.

I love, love, love that branch.

Finished a box of nickels... all bank plastic rolls. One '43 silver, 3 canadian, 34 pre 60's, and a real nice 61 and 64.

I hope the whole nickels thing isn't just because of me. I'll be the first to say that my results with nickels have been CRAZY and a complete aberration. When things are hitting, they're hitting, and for the last 10 days or so, I've just been hitting. I'm sure my hot streak will die sometime before next weekend, haha.

Nah, i like to get nickels every once in a while because i still have holes to fill that are common dates.

I searched the box of cents and only came up with a 1944S to fill a hole. About 80% of the rolls are 2010's so i didn't even bother opening them.

2010 nickels haven't been too easy to come by for me. I saved 5 rolls, IIRC. Might break 'em open some day to see if there's any 68's or better in there.

My friend and I were riding our bikes, and we stopped by 7-11 and in the cash register were two ike dollars! a 1976 and a 1978! I gave the 1976 to a girl at school though, because she thought it was really cool

5 boxes of nickels finds total

    82 S minted nickels
    164 Pre 1960
    1 1944P war nickel
    1 1927D Buffalo
    1 slightly off center 1984D
Box finds rating: 8.5 out of 10 if I did not find the 1927D buffalo the rating would be 7 I filled a hole with the buffalo I found been awhile since I found a buffalo in circulation that filled a hole
