I know these coins don't hold any significant monetary value, heck they aren't even in very good condition but to me they are priceless because they got me interested in coin collecting!
i love worn/used indian head cents. nice coins! :thumb::thumb: just be careful, it can be a very addicting series to collect.
Good deal. I was inspired to collect coins after refinding several Indian Heads that my father gave me when I was a kid.
Congratulations, have fun and good luck. My only warning is this gets really addictive! I have so many different series started and not completed, I don't know which one to tackle and finish first. But, I don't regret anything I've boughten yet, so it's all good!!!
So... I'm sure this isn't nearly as exciting to everyone here as it is to me but I just went through all my lincoln memorial pennies and found I'm only missing 4 from 1970-2010!!! Now I just need the whitman folders I ordered to get here! This is really addicting and I have a feeling it only gets more and more addicting.
My mom gave me a partial set of Indian Heads for my birthday once, years ago. Since then, I have been forced to add to it. As everyone says, this has no limits. You are either constantly expanding or upgrading. There is no end, which adds to the challenge. Good luck with yours, gary
Thanks! I'm pretty excited about getting back into coin collecting as well as paper currency collecting as well. My biggest problem is sitting here waiting to go out and find some coins! Well, that and the money to...
I do a lot of roll searching, so am not really spending money to obtain coins. But according to my wife a box of Halves has cost me $500, and she considers the money "spent". lol Go figure ? Maybe it's a ploy to get the dump money transferred to HER account ?
