You can find some pretty decent Roman coins of Constantine (and constantine era) in the $20 range ( there are cheaper, and more expensive one though) that look better than what I postesd. vcoins.com forvmancientcoins.com
Beautiful portrait on the Constant. Nice Elagabalus, still yet to bit the bullet on getting one. Ive reverted back to my U.S. type building. Maybe in another month ill go back to buying a ancient, dam flip flopping, haha.
Nice additions Randy. I like the bust of the Constantine one, the first coin in your first post. Quite fancy, with decoration... I like the sceptre and globe too. That's a pretty nice portrait of Elagabalus as well, I have yet to aquire the 'FELICITAS TEMPORUM' reverse on either a Denarius or Antoninianus of Elagabalus.... but I plan to. Keep up the good work.

Ah, that's a nice portrait. Bare head, nice. Doesn't look too rough. I don't have any coins from Aurelius.... In fact, not counting the Faustina Denarius I just bought a couple days ago, I dont have any coins from after Hadrian and before Septimius Severus. I also have a big gap between Nero and Hadrian..... and nothing from before Nero.
I almost passed M. Aurelius too (actually I did pass on it but was still there when I came back lol) because I have a nice dupondius and a countetfiet denarius of him. I got alot of gaps too. I have been wanted to get more Severan coins (not counting a few provincials which I have a few of).
Cool, I don't know if I have seen your Aurelius counterfeit Denarius. I know I've seen your Dupondius, and it's quite nice. Yeah I always liked the Severan coins, but I tend to lean towards the early Radiate Antoninianii of Caracalla and Elagabalus.... when I can afford them, and see one nice enough.... I still need an example of Macrinus, but those are pricey for the kind I like.
