They didn't have any 2010 Proof ASE but I picked up some coins from the change machine. So the grandkids will have some new coins fresh from the mint.
No I know they get all the hype BUT there are better located thruout the city. Try Chubbys on the Ridge, or Anthonys in Glenside. My favorite is a black pastromi w/ onions, peppers and cheese. The only proplem is the best is at Full Belly Deli, Wolfeboro,NH, I know I use to live in Wolfeboro!
Lived in Philly for 3 years - agree Pat's and Geno's get all the attention. So we always stayed away from them until some family came to visit and had "a book" and had to go there. I will say - they are pretty flippin good! Some better places for "swankier" cheesesteaks, but if you want the pure natural Philly experience they can't be beat in my opinion. Plus, you get the Philly neighborhood feel down there. Head over to Italian Market and drop into the homemade sausage place on east side of street - mom and pop 3rd generation - THE BEST! About the only thing Italian left in that market - has become Mexico Market.
