this is funny! I have been telling people all last year and again all this year to SET UP SUBSCRIPTIONS way ahead of the sale announcement and day of release...

 

damn it krispy, we like the rush though!

 

HA! In the checkout line. Finally. Twenty one minutes later. And yes. The rush is excellent! Its almost as good as when I walk into the coin shop and find an '09-S VDB in the bargain bin (I wish...)

 

I put 10 in my cart, no problem. But I'm not buying any today, got plenty on the way..

 

Got in, got 4 ordered. Took about 20 minutes on high speed internet.

100 of course.... jk, 8. I had two subscriptions set up, one for 3 and another for 5. I canceled my other subscriptions for 1 each when the household limit wasn't imposed on such small orders.

 

Just got my 2 ordered.

 

Most of us already had subscriptions for ASE's going back a few years. With the glitch of not offering the coin last year, the mint sent us all e-mails assuring us that we would not have to re-subscribe and would get the next offering. I'm not sure when they made the cutoff between offering the 2010 subscription and the 2011 subscription but I do know that up to a few weeks ago you could still order the 2010 subscription.

 

I had subscriptions from last year...hoping to get the 2009's. I had a "1" subscription, a "5" subscription, and a "15" subscription. That was just to cover my bases in 2009.

I forgot to cancel the subscriptions after that. When the fiasco began a few weeks ago with the 2010's, I was afraid to change anything.

...so I guess I just bought "21" of the things. (DOAH!)

 

Is anyone else's order saying order it is suspended? I ordered some 2010 Silver proof sets and an 2010 Uncirculated set along with the ASEs and that's what I am seeing in the order.

 

At least you have Mint's whopping huge, 7 day return policy to send back the ones that will be covered in fibers, fingerprints, dents, spots and anything else the production crew was drinking and spiting while minting your pristine collector coins.

 

I'm logged in to the US Mint website...and can get to the "main" page and "shop online" fine, but everything freezes up for me when I try to drill down any further.

It's very slow to get to the cart right now. I just got there and removed the ten units I put in to test the system, took several minutes, but removed them and logged off. Now will try to log on again and track order status.

 

Yeah...I hate having to wipe RedMan spittle off my ASEs.
