Mystery Prize Contest

It's time for another contest!

The prize for this one is going to remain a mystery until the end of the contest but I will say it's approximate value will be $50.

I'll wander around my vault and see what would be a good prize.


It might be gold (or gold plated)........




....or it may be paper.....




......or maybe something ancient......



.....or something else.....





To participate:

-Minimum 25 posts.
-Open to all Coin Talk Members.
-One entry per member.
-Deadline is Sunday November 28, 2010 at 6:00 pm CST. (my time)


To enter:

Post a photo of yourself doing your favorite hobby. For those who require anonymity, wear sunglasses or whatever. If your favorite hobby isn't coins/currency collecting, that's fine.

*remember....this is a family forum, so keep the photos appropriate.

Each entry will be put into a hat and the winner and their prize will be announced on Sunday at 7:00pm (unless I get called into work. If that's the case, it'll be after that.)

I act for a group that supports the Armed Forces and local Police. We supply "a body," if you will, that they can practice on. This particular photo is when I am acting as a mushroom picker without a license to help the Eugene Or RTI OSP unit.

I love to fish!! Especially when my wife will join me.

 

I work at an Elementary School. One of the 7th and 8th grade Special Ed class' helps me work on the car getting it ready for each race. They get to be in the paddock during the race helping out and having fun.

 

A hobby is an activity or interest that is undertaken for pleasure or relaxation.

I would say one of mine is spending time with my son.

This is from the MS150 that I have been participating in that raises money for medicines and treatment for MS. This is the finish in Austin, TX of 180-190 mile event.

Art is more than a 'hobby' to me. Being creative in the visual arts is what ranks highest amongst my favorite activities. Interacting with art, choosing an education and career in creative fields, vacation destinations that center on viewing art and architecture, exploring the urban space for public art or in this case, street art, and spending my free time in museums and galleries is what I enjoy most, apart from collecting. Photography is instrumental in much of what I do, but I am usually behind the camera, not its subject. Here is yours truly, in silhouette, in a manipulated self portrait.
