$3.46 for 1 Gram of "German Silver" !!! Not only is $3.46 a huge rip off for 1gm of Silver, it's not even real silver! Click here to grin your heart out with envy over this persons large profit revenue I feel sorry for whomever purchases this man's trash as it truly is far from treasure For all who don't know Wikipedia's information on German Silver
He has tons of plated replicas, and they aren't eve good ones! Check out this 2010 $100 Platinum replica. It made me laugh! http://cgi.ebay.com/2010-USA-100-1o...eplicaCoins&hash=item4153affe36#ht_1130wt_689
Yep it's there, but it is not in compliance with the HPA. Too small and it is raised not incuse. Also the letting is not san-serif.
Great catch! Now this is an issue worth reporting to EBAY . The listing is intentionally misleading . Probably need to keep a watchful eye on the biding as well.
I do not see where he is doing anything wrong - the coin says copy, he says replica, etc. You even get free shipping. So what if 23 people already bought one, maybe they enjoy his replica's or copies. Just something not worth getting upset about. You can report him maybe for saying silver when there is no silver content, but not sure.
No he say's platinum plated which could be true, not bothering with this one, just interesting. I don't think it follows the HPA but sure I will give you that he does clearly note it is a copy
Where the heck are you seeing the word Copy or Replica ? I don't know what listing your looking at, but the one posted in this thread has no reference to either copy or replica.
His store listings has a segment dedicated to replica australian coins, but the listing does not identify the offered item as such . He is advertising that item as " Bullion " .
Where is it in the ad ? I don't see it. Nowhere in the listing you presented does it refer to that item being a copy or a replica. It does however suggest it is " bullion " .
Indeed Coinman this particular listing is in fact intentionally misleading. Other CT members are getting confused with the other "Replica Coins" this Ebay user has listed and is forgetting the initial topic I've started
