Being on a "fixed" income, we have cut back a lot. There's no inflation unless you are buying food or medications of course. lol Anyway, I have had some success at the Casino during this NFL season and intend to complete some more sets. But what I really wanted to say was that you don't "quit" unless you go blind or die. You might put it on hold and even sell a lot of stuff to get through some hard times, but you come back. Even if you don't have a single coin left, you search your change. Once bitten, you are in it for a lifetime. I took a 45 year break, but came back with renewed interest. Since then I have read several complete books, many articles and followed forums. I have spent as many as 18 hours a day researching coins and collecting as it is today. Learning a lot, for sure. Roll searching with some success. I am busier now than I ever was when working and cannot seem to find enough time to pursue this hobby as much as I want to. gary
I completely second this. I once in a while see someone selling a complete or almost complete set on ebay and claim they just lost interest or are getting out. Is this really an easy decision for some people, or is it just sales pitch?
