The currency note is an updated version of this: The Stamp is new and original Let me know what you think
Thank you I did not know what to place in the background so I filled it with the Thread effect. Updating now and the next rendition will be posted asap
I like the red 5 stamp! very cool! The note still needs somthing in the center, it doesnt look balanced. Maybe have the bear in the center, maybe filling 2/3 the height/width of the note maximum, and the other elements can be placed in the blank spaces around the bear... just a thought
Latest versions of my novelty notes (Opinions) So you all have been very helpful with updating my designs. Here are the latest notes (I wish I could order prints somewhere they are beautiful in my opinion) but help me out with any ideas you may have. (My signature will be hand added once I can get a super high quality print of each note & once they are "proofed") These notes are novelty notes ones of which I want to sell hand signed copies on websites like ebay for $.99 each (eventually)
I think they look nice. If you're looking for constructive critiscism, the one looks like it is missing a little, and the font is illegible - will pay...copper.... Looking forward to seeing your finals! Good job!
Indeed, I wanted to keep the "One" simple as most governments do, however is there anything you might suggest as I get the same feeling from the one
What do you mean illegible? Is it the font I mean if you zoom in to the concept note you can see the wording, which is where mr. spell check came into play (thank you btw Dave M) Can you please rephrase or provide me a little more details??:hail:
Very nice project! I would recommend reading some of the older silver, gold and coin US notes. I really enjoy reading them, because the phrasing is so well constructed. They used different fonts and sizes to increase the attractiveness of the note. The typical ones read similar to this 1899 $5 Silver Certificate. "This Certifies That There Have Been Deposited In The Treasury Of The United States Of America Five Silver Dollars Payable To The Bearer On Demand" I love them because the phrasing is so precise, it tells you exactly what the note represents. They didn't simply write it on the note, it is a part of the design of the note. You glance at the note and all you see is UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and FIVE. However, when you really read the note you see there is much more to it than just that. Here is an image, I hope this helps and gives you a little inspiration.
Absolutely agreed! Thank you for sharing I have some hand drawn renditions of my own novelty currency that is somewhat similar in concept. The notes I am currently working on is different so it has a "futuristic" like appeal to "real currency" When I get a good camera or access to a scanner I will gladly share. Old US currency is my favorite. Much more time and effort went into designing them
