I was at least a part of getting him kicked off eBay, but I cannot do anything about getting him off the internet.
Those damn Chinese people are starting to get in my nerves. All they need to counterfeit next is the food we eat.
If pcgs doesn't get agressive with them, thier brand will be significantly endangered..... if I were them, given thier current brand value, I'd sue this coin dealer in the article into life long bankruptcy,,, and then go after his heirs when he's gone..... need to set precident like De Beers did... bet you won't find too many fake diamonds coming out of China.
I hate to tell you this, but his "direct source" has been around a lot longer than you think. Coin World did an article on him earlier this year and he he his mentioned in 2008;
He's been around for sometime now and he's quite proud of the accomplishments of counterfeiting almost all coins struck by presses. This seller is not responsible for counterfeit slabs coming out of China, that is another aspect of their "Black Market" and those dristributors know it is highly illegal and the China Trade Dept. will not turn it's head like they do with Jinghausei Be careful out there and Happy Collecting
Then you know it's true. The Chinese generally consider counterfeiting to be something that isn't looked down upon... their culture has essentially made fraud an acceptable issue. It's all of dubious morality, in my humble opinion. Poor use of their talents, too.
I would have to agree with stealer on this one, be careful when generalizing a statement to apply to an entire race or nationality of people. It is racist, ignorant, and very disrespectful.
Guys watch it. It's unfortunate that a lot of counterfeit goods come out of China but to bluntly say that a race is involved with such activity is baseless and is not helpful like what dctjr80 said.
I'm not to pleased with the CHINESE counterfeiters either. BTW the Veitnamese counterfeiters and their Super notes drive me crazy too!!
Now do not get me wrong, I am completely against the counterfeiters and often say that at this point "I wouldn't buy a Chinese coin from China". I wouldn't consider my statement to be an attack against all of China or its people, I am only stating that I don't trust the Numismatic Material from there.
Don't think for a minute he's not selling on eBay (this, in fact, is jinghuashei): http://shop.ebay.com/coins-liu/m.html?_ipg=50&_sop=1&_rdc=1
I have no idea how you know that that is the same person, which I doubt, or a crony of his just selling jinghuashei's wares. However, in the end it makes little difference - the counterfeits are still coming. Hey! I was but a bump in the road for them. But at least I was a bump and that is better than most can say.
Don't doubt it for a minute. I've been doing a little research on my own, and decided to send "Mr. J" an email requesting info. Here's his response: Hello: YES! I am still selling coins. You can buy the coins from me here directly.Please click the following link to enter my coin website and my other EBAY shop: http://www.jinghuashei.com/index.html http://shop.ebay.com/coins-liu/m.html?_ipg=50&_sop=1&_rdc=1 I have already listed all my coins on my coin website. I can’t provide the coins which haven’t been listed on my coin website to you. If you need some coins of mine, please give me a detailed order list. You can buy them from me here. I can sell the coins to you at the price of $1.50 each including shipping cost. I can provide all the coins to you without REPLICA or COPY marks.
Ask him if he can provide them in pcgs slabs ?,, just curious. BTW, if yes, please put me down for 500 of each key dates. RETIREMENT HERE I COME !!
Is What it Is Well now we have to be PC as collectors. I'm Irish and people say a lot of us are drunks, they are right. Sometimes Stealer it just is what it is. Steve
